Site messaging

Tell the right people on site, and know who read it

Send a message to a whole site or just one group, add a photo or a PDF, ask for a response, and see exactly who has read it. No group chats, no notice board.

30 days free, no card needed. Site messaging is on the Complete plan.

The problem with site comms

Group chats and notice boards do not tell you who saw it

A site notice goes in the cabin, a message goes in a WhatsApp group, and when something goes wrong nobody can show who was told.

Everyone, or nobody

A group chat reaches whoever is in it, including people who left the project weeks ago.

No proof it was seen

You can say you told them. You cannot show that they read it.

Subcontractors left out

Sub-contract teams are often on a different list, so a change reaches your people and not theirs.

Reach the right people

Pick the audience, preview it, then send

Choose who gets it before you send. A preview shows who is included.

Target by scope and role

Send to a whole organisation or a single site, to workers, supervisors, site admins or everyone, with subcontractor workers included if you want them.

Only who is on site

Limit a message to people on site now, or to people who were on site in the last 7, 14 or 28 days.

Send now or schedule

Write it once and set when it goes. Cancel a scheduled message, or copy an old one as a starting point.

Photos, PDFs and links

Attach up to 10 items, so a revised plan or a photo goes with the message and not in a separate email.

Ask for a response

Add up to five response buttons, as single or multiple choice, for anything you need an answer to, like a head count for tomorrow.

Push, then kept in the app

Workers get a push notification and the message stays in their Messages list in the app. Keep each message to 500 characters so it reads on a phone.

Proof it was seen

See who read it and who has not

Read receipts and responses

Every message has its own results, so you can chase the people who have not seen it.

  • Opened: opening a message marks it read, and you see that on your side.
  • Responses: see who picked which response button.
  • Recipient lists: open the list behind each number to see exactly who is in it.
  • Export: download the results as a CSV for a client or an audit file.

Housekeeping built in

Keep your messages organised and your sending in the right hands.

  • Folders: sort past messages so you can find the one you need.
  • Role limits: only admin roles can send, so a worker cannot broadcast to the site.
  • Needs acknowledgement? For documents that must be read, such as method statements, use document acknowledgement alongside messaging.
How it works

From draft to proof

1

Write and target

Write the message, add attachments or response buttons, and choose the scope, role and who is on site.

2

Preview and send

Check who is in the audience, then send now or schedule it.

3

Track and follow up

Watch reads and responses come in, and export the results when you need a record.
